• Developed and commissioned by Telka Energy as part of their utility-scale solar expansion in Spain. ? • The project is ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) type. ? • The plant was commissioned in 2024 (first grid connection in February; full commissioning in April). ? Technical specifications & scale • Capacity: 92 MW AC (two adjacent plants, each ~46 MW AC: “Gazules 1” and “Gazules 2”). ? • Module count: approximately 240,000 bifacial solar modules. ? • Site area: about 140 hectares. ? • Annual production estimate / equivalent households: able to supply the equivalent of ~20,000 homes. ? • Technology details: Bifacial modules (i.e., they capture solar irradiance on both front and rear sides) employed to increase yield. ? Key benefits / context • The project forms part of Spain’s renewable energy transition and RWE’s solar footprint in Iberia
